Learning from Create Abundance by Zhang Xinyue – “Creating Problems”
Create Abundance by Zhang Xinyue is a collection of teachings and words of wisdom for mind-body-spirit cultivation.
It is interesting to note that in the book Create Abundance, Zhang Xinyue suggests that asking questions can mean creating problems. To understand this is to know that if you ask questions all the time indiscriminately just for the sake of asking the question it can have different meanings.
If you are asking quickly and not really waiting for an answer this can mean you don’t care about the answer. You have already made up your mind what the answer is, which is often incorrect. Understanding the psychology behind this is that the person is arrogant, impatient, or insecure. They believe that it is easier to ask questions than have meaningful conversations.
If you find you are behaving in this manner you need to relax and breathe and stop rushing and thinking you have all the answers. It is not necessary to question everything in this manner. Questions have their place but this kind of using questions instead of thinking for yourself creates problems. A person can answer the question, but they cannot make you understand the answer.
To find a way forward that would not create problems would be to stop and gather your thoughts before asking questions. Think of what the answer could be and then you don’t need to ask and can talk.
